Warranty Policy

SUBJECT: Factory Defect Policy

CA Professional Cabinet (warrantor) warrants only to the original consumer purchaser, and that all products manufactured or supplied by warrantor will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use (Proof of Purchase is required). Our warranty policy reflects for your purchase of materials based on the manufacturer’s policy. It is the consumer purchaser’s responsibility to inquire us for warranty policy. If your cabinet manufacturer’s policy can’t assist you then we will do our best to assist; however, we are not obligated to order a renewal from our pockets. It is the customer responsibility to keep their cabinet on high maintenance and to notice if there is any defected cabinet from their purchase before installation or otherwise it will be noted that cabinet became defected under your care (Take pictures of the defected cabinet). Be sure to ask our sales representative or your buyer on how long the warranty will last because it may vary.  CA Professional Cabinet reserves the right to inspect all defective parts and/or require verification of defective parts prior to providing the part under warranty. The defective part must be delivered to CA Professional Cabinet prior to a replacement part being given. It is CA Professional Cabinet’s option to provide repair parts or replace with a functionally equivalent product.  Replacement of damaged items will be made as soon as possible based on product availability from your manufacturer. CA Professional Cabinet cannot guarantee supply times for damaged items. CA Professional Cabinet will not be responsible for any project delays caused by damages.

This warranty/policy does not cover damage resulting from normal wear, accident, misuse or lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance and service; nor does it warranty the improper installation or unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification or defects in the unit when the product is installed. All cabinet doors are adjustable. Weather conditions and temperatures may cause natural expansion and contraction in the wood, thus doors may need to be adjusted. This is considered normal maintenance and is not covered under warranty service. Normal everyday use may also require doors to be adjusted periodically. This is also considered normal maintenance and is not covered under warranty service. We take great care to provide our customers with quality products. However, due to the nature of wood and wood products, our cabinets may contain naturally occurring characteristics within the wood or finish. Wood cabinets can be expected to vary in color, grain pattern and texture and natural woods may exhibit subtle changes as they age. Pitch pockets/marks, open and closed knotholes are accepted wood traits; these are inherent characteristics of a natural product and are beyond our control. For example, white painted face frames may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may also affect the color match over time. Exposure to the elements including humidity may result in warping or splitting. Sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may cause materials to vary from their original color and/or warp, split or crack. These characteristics are not considered defective for warranty/policy consideration. What is considered defective for warranty for SOME manufactures is initial repair, replacement (if approved by the manufacturer), touch up and adjustments to cabinet doors, drawers and countertops. However, it is not always guaranteed by all manufactures and it all depends on how the manufacturer views your cabinet damage.
